Coaches: Trevor Keen

Coaching Qualifications: Trevor has completed his Level 2 Cricket Coaching Course accredited by Cricket Australia. During his time in England Trevor was lucky enough to be surrounded by vast array of cricketing stars non greater than the former West Indies Captain Jimmy Adams. Other players also included Paul Stirling (Ireland and Middlesex), John Maunders (Essex, Leicestershire and Middlesex), Adam London (Middlesex), Toby Roland-Jones (Middlesex) and Matthew Todd (Surrey). Trevor's knowledge and cricketing experience is invaluable and will enable him to aid players to progress their game to the next level.

About: Trevor Keen is a 25 year old from Mount Barker, having grown up and played all his junior cricket at Mount Barker Cricket Club and Sturt District Cricket Club. In 2011 Trevor sought the opportunity to play cricket abroad in the Uk playing for Sunbury CC, located 45 minutes South West of London. He had an amazing life and cricketing experience scoring just over 400 league runs averaging over 50 and overall 1200 runs averaging in the mid 70's. On return he changed Grade clubs and got given a great opportunity at East Torrens District Cricket Club where he experience his highest honour of playing 'A' grade taking 3/56 against West Torrens.
Trevor is a very proud Hills boy and has started his own cricket coaching business with the aim of improving the standard of cricket throughout the Hills and offering greater opportunities for players, ideally with more players getting the experience to play abroad and learn to adjust to different conditions. This will ultimately result in them improving their game and taking it to the next level.
Coach: James Greig
James Greig is 17 years old and has played junior cricket for Strathalbyn since 2012. He was the Alexandra and Eastern Hills league U14 leading run scorer in 2014 and was the Strathalbyn junior cricketer of the year in 2015. James has also played under 16 reds for Southern District Cricket Club winning the club junior cricketer of the year award, along with the best bowler award in 2015. In 2017 James played C grade regularly batting in the middle order for Southern District's and occasional A grade matches for Strathalbyn. James is a qualified SACA Level 1 coach and has achieved the Office of Recreation and Sport 'Essentials for Coaching Children'. James is working towards obtaining SACA level 2 coaching. James is based in Strathalbyn but travels to the Adelaide hills and surrounding areas for coaching.
